As engineers in Philadelphia, we kept seeing clinics, schools, and nonprofits stuck with technology they didn’t find easy to use or trust. Many needed engineering help but weren’t ready to hire a full team, and good partners were hard to find. So we set out to be the partner they were missing, shaping every project around your team, your data, and the rules you work under.
Founders
Steffen Cornwell
Steffen leads finance, operations, and client relationships at Levra. He is also Director of Services at Keep.id, a nonprofit platform that helps people experiencing homelessness securely obtain and store their ID documents, where he has worked on HIPAA compliance for sensitive personal data.
Jesse Cui
Jesse leads engineering strategy across Levra’s projects in health and education. He previously built machine learning and data infrastructure at Amazon, Capital One, and Meta, including data privacy systems and cloud security in regulated environments. He has also published research on privacy-preserving machine learning for clinical diagnostics.
Sophia Ye
Sophia advises on product and health strategy, after leading more than 15 Levra products across healthcare and education. She is currently a HealthTech Fellow at Harvard Medical School, and previously helped build and launch clinical AI for sepsis detection at Bayesian Health.
